Karen

Karen grew up in Montreal, then moved to Waterloo to attend university there. Her nickname, 'The Pink Mathie' came from her love of the colour pink as well as it being the University of Waterloo's official colour of the faculty of mathematics. After obtaining her Bachelor of Mathematics, Honours Computer Science, Karen moved to Los Angeles for work. Though the California sunshine was fantastic, Karen and her husband Chris decided to head north and settled in Vancouver, where they have been living for the past 15 years.

Karen has always loved reading, writing, and math and hopes to share some of that passion through this website. Karen is also an fitness enthusiast with a strong connection to the outdoors.
